Family Event: Disney’s DCappella Tour Dates

Taking center stage is Disney’s NEW a cappella group, DCappella! If you’re a fan of a cappella style vocalists and Disney’s hit songs, then you don’t want to miss their tour. The seven-member strong troupe is touring now through March and I’m sharing the Disney’s DCappella Tour Dates below along with a great giveaway for my Atlanta readers!

About Disney’s DCappella Tour 

DCappella is Disney Music Group’s new a cappella singing sensation. The group came together as a result of a nationwide search for the best vocal performing talent in a cappella and stage. They just released a self-titled debut album and their North American tour just launched in Florida.

They sing some of Disney fan’s favorite hits like: Moana’s “How Far I’ll Go” and Coco’s “The World Es Mi Familia,” as well as a mash-up of tunes from The Little Mermaid. 

Their seven voices combined sounds like various instruments instead of actual sining lyrics. The group’s co-creator, music director, arranger and artistic producer is Deke Sharon, aka “the father of contemporary a cappella” (Entertainment Weekly).

 

Review From The Atlanta DCapella Show

While I’ve never known Disney to put on a bad show, I didn’t know what to expect before watching the Atlanta DCapella Show. Being a fan of a capella music groups, and Disney, I knew this was performance I didn’t want to miss. I wasn’t alone either – so many fans turned out to see what DCapella was all about.

The group is comprised of seven performers, but have the talent to sound like twelve – all working in harmony. They sang some of our favorites from Disney parks, threw in some music trivia and even sung favorites in other languages. To say this group is talented is an understatement. 

You can feel their energy radiant from the stage as they hit every note. It’s an exciting show that doesn’t miss a beat (pun intended) and it’s designed for all ages to enjoy. Kids, as well as adults, can truly enjoy the DCapella experience. 

The lighting and set design only compliments their vocals, making it a strong visual performance on top of the auditory pleasure. 

If you’re thinking about attending one of their performance, you need to grab your tickets before they’re gone. I have a feeling this group is just getting started because they’ll be a huge hit. I came home and downloaded their album. I’m a true fan and I recommend the performance for any Disney fan!
