Disneybounding is what inspired these fun Disney Stockings. You can get creative as you’d like or put your own twist on them. I found all of my supplies at Walmart, or you can easily shop online at Amazon for what you need to. If your child is decorating a stocking, you’ll want to help them out with any glue gun parts.
Every one of these stocking designs starts with a basic burlap stocking. Burlap material is great because it can be painted, dyed or you can even use permanent markers on it. I love the classic share of these stockings from Amazon. They come in a bundle pack, so you can create several designs like I did (below is an amazon affiliate link that I receive commission from):
How To Make A Toy Story 4 Forky Christmas Stocking
Who doesn’t love Forky? He’s adorable and definitely not trash in my book! He’s one of the easiest Disney character stockings to make. All you need is paint, pipe cleaners, white foam, teal ribbon and googly eyes.
DIY Disney Christmas Stockings Craft: Forky Design
This Forky Disney Christmas Stockings Craft is definitely NOT trash! Bring the spirit of Toy Story 4 to your holiday season with this cute DIY Forky stocking design.
Materials
- 1 Burlap Craft Stocking
- White Craft Paint
- Teal Ribbon
- Red Pipe Cleaners
- 1 Small Googly Eye
- 1 Big Googly Eye
- 1 White Foam Sheet
Tools
- Paint Brush
- Glue Gun
Instructions
- To start, paint your entire stocking white. Use a piece of cardboard to place on the inside of the stocking to prevent the sides of sticking together. Let dry for 12 hours.
- Cut 3 large triangles from the white foam sheet. You can measure how tall it should be by holiding it up to the top of the stocking. Each point should be a tad bit taller than the top of the stocking.
- Twist together two pipe cleaners to make his arms.
- Glue the two red pipe cleaner arms and his one red pipe cleaner eyebrow down with a glue gun.
- Glue both eyes down (right side is the smaller one).
- To add his smile, measure a 3-4 inch piece of teal ribbon and glue down at a slant. Create a half circle bottom smile that's slightly crooked with more ribbon. Glue it down to secure.

I love the classic red Minnie Mouse look. This stocking is super easy and you could also turn it into a Mickey Mouse Christmas Stocking. To do that, just omit the ribbon. Add two “buttons” to the top portion of the stocking instead of the polka dot pattern for Minnie Mouse.

If you’ve got a family member that’s cute and sassy, you might want to make this Tinkerbell Christmas stocking design. It’s hard to tell in the photos, but the key to this cute stocking is the clear silver glitter spray that I used to look like pixie dust. It’s glistening against the fireplace!

- Paintbrush
- Glue Gun

Notes
When you're spraying the glitter spray paint on the bottom of the stocking, be sure to do it outside! You want to prevent getting glitter on anything else.
