Get ready for a magical weekend of running! Run Disney is ready to host the 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon weekend presented by Cigna. The 2016 10k theme is famous duos and the weekend always brings out amazing costumed runners. I’ve put together a complete guide as a one-stop shop for all of your needs. Below you’ll find links for waivers, corral assignments and even runner tracking. Enjoy it… it’s the last Run Disney race to experience Disneyland’s 60th anniversary!
Race Waivers:
Link to the 2016 race waivers can be found HERE! Kid’s Races, 5k, 10k Disneyland Half and Dumbo Double Dare participants need waivers. Pro tip: print waivers before your trip and take them in your carry on for safe keeping. You’ll save time at the expo.
Official Event Guide:
New for this race weekend, Run Disney will only offer the online version of the race guide. Link to the 2016 event guide can be found HERE! Glance at the map of the Half Marathon, as the course has changed this year due to construction in the parks. It also contains all of the transportation and medical information you’ll need.
Corral and Bib Assignment:
Your bib number can be found at the bottom of your waiver (see link above). Below are the official corrals for the Disneyland Half Marathon and the Dumbo Double Dare challenge. If you’re registered for the 5k or 10k, you’ll find out your corral at the expo upon bib pickup.
If you believe your corral assignment is wrong, contact Run Disney prior to the race weekend. If you still need help, seek the Runner’s Relations booth at the expo.
Official Expo Times:
Thursday September 1st
10am-8pm
Friday September 2nd
noon-8pm
Saturday September 3rd
10am-5pm
Dooney and Bourke Pre-Order:
Below is the 2016 Dooney and Bourke race weekend bags. They were available for pre-order, but a booth will be available at the expo. Runners may have the opportunity to still purchase a bag, but styles could be limited. Pro-tip: it’s worth checking out if you missed out!

New Balance Queue Sign Up:
To purchase the official Run Disney New Balance shoes, you can register online, at their virtual queue, prior to the expo opening. It starts at 7pm on the day prior to expo day. The link can be found HERE! They’ll assign you a time to return to purchase your shoes. If there isn’t a line, the New Balance website will inform you to go straight to the booth.
Runner Tracking:
Family and friends can track your progress on the course. I highly recommend using this tool for a spectator who plans to meet you at the finish line. Pro tip: track yourself! You’ll be able to check your own progress and verify that you’re keeping the minimum pace requirements. The link can be found HERE!
Have a magical race weekend! Don’t forget to use the #DisneylandHalf, #Rundisney and #Cignaruntogether hashtags on social media!
