When you need a little something sweet, but you don’t want to go through the effort of making a huge dessert, mug cakes are AWESOME. I also like that I can enjoy dessert without the guilt of large servings. This Butterbeer Mug Cake is for all the Harry Potter fans out there. Butterbeer tastes like a combination of butterscotch and cream soda – it’s sweet and toasty.

With Crimes of Grindelwald now in theaters, it’s the perfect encore to a movie night. You can do dinner and a movie, then come home and make this. My friend Sarah is a huge “Potterhead” – she’s got a Fantastic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald Movie Review to check out. Plus, I love when a sequel comes out because it’s the perfect excuse to start from the beginning all over again.
So grab your movie buddy and plan an evening that ends on a sweet note, with this Butterbeer Mug Cake!
