I have a morning tradition of taking some time to myself before the busy school day starts and my time becomes dedicated to the kids again. Taking care of myself gives me a renewed focus and helps energize me. It’s like a little moment of clarity before the chaos. After my workout, I always refuel with a healthy breakfast. These Easy Breakfast Berry Parfaits are delicious with a cup of hot tea and they can be prepared the night before.
They are layers of berry, granola and yogurt. Each spoonful gives you a slightly sweet touch with crunchy and creamy texture. For an added health benefit, I pair my parfaits with Bigelow Probiotics teas from Walmart.
The aroma of tea and the warmth hitting my throat is soothing and comforting. It really adds to my morning peacefulness before school. There’s something calming about stirring my morning tea and remembering my Mom doing the same thing every morning too.
There are three Bigelow Probiotics teas flavors available at Walmart:
- Lemon Ginger with Probiotics
- Green Tea with Ginger Plus Probiotics (NEW to Walmart)
- Lavender Chamomile Plus Probiotics (New to Walmart)
All 3 tea flavors, with probiotics, help support healthy digestion – something that makes me feel better from the inside out. Each ingredient in these teas has been carefully selected by the Bigelow family to deliver an uncompromised tea experience. It’s the highest quality and I can taste the difference. The blend has been combined with Ganeden-BC30, an innovation that helps maintain a healthy balance in your digestive tract when used as part of a healthy diet.
I proudly purchase Bigelow tea because it’s manufactured in the US, a family owned company and the tea stays fresh because of the foil packaging. So pick your favorite berry and Bigelow Probiotic tea flavor, then make this easy breakfast for a healthy start to your day!
Easy Breakfast Berry Parfaits: The Perfect Hot Tea Pairing
Use a small mason jar to make your breakfast berry parfait. I like adding the lid and storing them if I make ahead of time. Fill 1/4 of the jar with your favorite flavored yogurt (greek yogurt can be used).
Next, top with granola and then fresh berries. I used strawberries or blackberries in mine. Fill the remaining portion of the jar with yogurt and add top with a garnish of granola – So easy!
