Everybody knows by now that we are taking JP on his first trip to Disney World in September! I am beyond excited and today we are exactly 3 months away. It’s going to be a quick trip but I plan on taking TONS of photos.
I’d like to feel healthy and look good in these vacation photos. I will cherish these photos forever, so why not like what I see? I’m confident about myself right now, but I’d like to slim up a bit before the trip. Coincidentally, my marathon training starts in July. So this is the perfect time for me to focus on my health with major motivation!
I am planning to share everything with you guys! I will share my pictures, training updates, failures and accomplishments. This mama is ready to get started! It’s time I do something for me & gain more energy to chase my toddler around Disney World.
Weight- 176.2 lbs.
Thighs- 25.5 in.
Hips- 40.5 in.
Waist: 31.5 in.
Bust- 39 in.
To kickstart my 12 Week Vacation Challenge, I made an inspiration board to help me keep on track. This will serve as a visual daily reminder of my goals (see below for instructions on how to make yours).
I’m NOT dieting since I’ve got to run so much for marathon training. I have a couple of basic healthy rules that I plan to follow:
1) Eat Colorfully- I’ll include as much color from vegetables.
2) Stay Hydrated- I’ll drink a gallon of water per day.
3) No Late Night Eating- I’ll cut myself off 3 hours prior to bedtime. That’ll be around 7PM.
4) No Procressed Foods- I will restrict the amount of pre-packaged foods to a minimum amount.
5) Don’t Miss a Workout- I will stick to my marathon training plan and crosstrain weekly with 2 rest days.
I think that these small changes will produce big results. During the next 12 weeks, I plan to be an open book for my readers. If you’d like to join my 12 Week Vacation Challenge or follow it, use the hashtag: #12weekvacaychallenge
Check out how to make your own inspiration board and let’s get started together. Don’t forget to take some before photos and measurements! We can celebrate our journey to better health and living with some AFTER pictures.
My Inspiration Board:
I spent about $6 at Walmart to make my inspiration board. I bought glue, poster board and mounting tape.
I found some awesome printable calendars and Disney sillouettes to compliment my vacation theme. You can find the blank printable calendars with Mickey design HERE.
I put together important vacation dates, like the day we book our Fast Pass+ reservations along with my training schedule:
I included a spot for my BEFORE measurements and weight too:
