How To Prep These 4th of July Rice Krispies Cones Ahead Of Time

These are so easy to prep ahead of time. You can either follow the whole recipe and store them in an airtight food storage container or just dip the cones and wait to complete the rest of the recipe. If you store them in an airtight food storage container and layer them, place wax paper between the cones so they aren’t touching. This will prevent any damage.

How To Store Leftovers

The Rice Krispies Treats do not need to be refrigerated. They can be stored on the countertop, but I recommend keeping them away from direct heat. For the best freshness, enjoy the treats within 4-5 days of making them. I do not recommend freezing the treats because the texture will change as it thaws.
