Disney announced some major changes recently to help improve guest’s experiences at Walt Disney World. These three changes will definitely streamline your time at the parks and help you waste less time waiting in a line…
New WDW Changes to Make Your Vacation Easier
- The My Disney Experience App just added accurate character meet and greet information that includes location and wait times. Character hunting will be easier than ever! Just click on the new character tab to see what characters are available for that particular day. If a character is available in multiple spots, you just pick the location that you are interested in. Be sure that your app is updated prior to your vacation!
- Starting on August 28th, Disney will provide direct bus service from the parks to Disney Springs from 4pm to 11pm each day. Guests have complained about having to make the trek to a resort, in order to visit the popular night time destination. But now it will be easier for you to experience all of the new shopping, dining and entertainment options that Disney Springs has to offer. Buses will only provide transportation back to the resorts though.

- New enhancements to the Fast Pass Plus system will provide more flexibility to guests. You can now chose individual FP+ experiences and times. Guests no longer need to make all selections for the same day at the same time. You can also pick less than 3 FP+ experiences, if desired. Done with your 3 FP+ selections? No problem! Guests can now reserve additional experiences through the My Disney Experience app or at a park kiosk.
